Firelight Buffet

With so many top-name chefs opening eateries in Las Vegas, it’s easy to ignore the lowbrow culinary legacy of Sin City – the all-you-can-scarf buffet. Today, most chuckwagons are merely carb-loaded imitations of past splendours, so it’s nice to see that Sam’s Town has resurrected the spirit of the buffet – decent food and a nice atmosphere offered at a can’t-beat price. The buffet serves freshly cooked rotisserie meat, omelette stations, speciality foods from Baja California and the Pacific Rim, and a buffet rarity – full bar service. It overlooks a stunning atrium, an indoor park replete with trees, waterfalls and streams.
